Pak Suzuki has raised the price of the Swift GLX CVT by Rs. 304,000, now priced at Rs. 5,429,000, while maintaining prices for other variants.
This increase is attributed to the 25% General Sales Tax (GST) applying to cars with an engine capacity of 1400cc and above. Notably, the GST now includes vehicles priced above Rs. 4 million, excluding the sales tax from the car's price. The Swift GLX is impacted by this new tax net.
These changes align with amendments targeting locally manufactured or assembled vehicles, double-cabin pick-ups, and those exceeding Rs. 4 million in invoice price.
