Question MY lenovo laptop Delay in switiching on

Lenovo laptop Battery disconnected from board because the laptop was not switching on.Now its connected directly to Plug in.My issue is the laptop has to be connected to plug for atleast half an hour for it to switch on .If i switch off the plug at night and try to switch it on next day i need to wait for atleast half an hour for it to switch on.
Pls advice

Check for low disk space and free up space. You may improve performance if you free some disk space on your PC. Select the Start button, then select Settings > System Storage . Your drives will be listed in the Storage area.
